A little bit about that image?
This image is from my front window where, from time to time every winter, ice appears. The bimodal view in this image–the icy surface and the tree in background–speaks to the range of domains available to us. I am compelled by it all, an attitude that is reflected in Robbins’ quote.
And Tom Robbins is the one who reminds me (God knows I need frequent reminding , “The dice are always rolling.”
